Welcome to Drakoneara , a group for people who like to create original characters, creatures, fantasy scenes, whatever one human mind can dream of!


FOUNDER
was the founder 2 years ago. She started this group with a handfull of dedicated friends. After a year she left for college and gave the group to her friends. But for some reason it slowly died out. Now she came back to take over the group after exactly 54 weeks of silence. We are back up and running!

JOINING

ONLY BY NOTE!!! NOT TO THIS GROUP BUT TO ONE OF THE ADMINS!!!

The rules for joining are quite simpel. You send a request note to one of the admins asking if you may join. Then that admin has the task to judge your gallery by originality. If you seem original enough you may enter. You must be close to braindead if you can’t enter this club!

SUBMISSIONS

ONLY BY NOTE!!! NOT TO THE ADMINS BUT TO THE CLUB!!!


This club will only submit works of members. But not random. Every week there will be 3 submissions, one chosen by one admin! This means that we will choose suggested works. You can send a note with your favorite work from your gallery, with a SHORT description why you like that particular work. Then it’s up to the admins to choose three of them per week.

FAVORITES

ONLY BY NOTE!!! NOT TO THE ADMINS BUT TO THE CLUB!!!

The clubs favorites will also be chosen by the admins. Members can send their favorite work from their favorite artist. This artist can not be a member!
There will be 1 favorite every week!
(Not 3 any longer!)

Ofcourse this system will start working when we get our devoted members back!

So the new contest will start now (15 september).

These are the four keywords you get. You must use all four of them in one work and make an original piece. It is a beginning contest, so we kept it quite simpel . You can do thousands of things with just a few words. I don't really believe we will get many entries since I received 0 notes, so the end date won't be set up yet.

The winning artwork will be judged by Originality, Skill and Composition.
The price is a full CG commision by your admin of choice.

The contest will still be running! We received one entry so far, and are still expecting more now! Contest will end at a random date somewhere end November!! That leaves everyone enough time. Remember, the price is a full cg commision from one of your adminds

SCRAPS

ONLY BY NOTE!!! NOT TO THE ADMINS BUT TO THE CLUB!!!

came up with a great idea for this club. Every member draws species, dragonkind, humanoids, anthro’s, you name it! Now every member is allowed to send a note with a decent character sheat or depiction of their specie. Those will be uploaded to scraps so the members will be able to see creatures designed by other members. You can get inspired by this, or even draw fanarts of those creatures. (Never forget to give FULL CREDIT to the ones that originally designed it)

The noting system may seem a bit weird, but it’s easier to keep the submissions, favorites and scraps notes apart from the joining notes.

NEWS

This group has been officially opened today 13th of september! We will ask every old member to note us again! News about the new contest will follow soon. If anyone has questions, or dislikes our submissions, favorites and scraps idea you can always send us a note! A club with unhappy members is not worth anything! We already received hartwarming comments and notes and I want to thank everyone that tries to revive this group along with us! Also the member and afiliates list has to be reconfirmed. A proper member list will be re-made soon. I am saving all new members on my HD, so if anyone is afraid that I didn't add them to the member list, do not worry. You are a member when you heard something back from us!
